Land of tropical beaches, exotic culture and untouched wilderness
Self Drive Mozambique
Mozambique is the land where classic African bush and wildlife meet the oceanic worlds of the Indies and the ancient trade routes of the East. The fascinating colonial architecture and culture of the towns and cities give way to miles upon miles of coastline where swaying palms, turquoise waters and secluded beaches with incredible diving opportunities beckon the adventurous traveller.
Mozambique Self Drive Highlights
A self drive Mozambique holiday comes with many fun and exciting ocean activities. From snorkelling with whale sharks to swimming with dolphins, from scuba diving to big game fishing, the list is long with ocean and beach life activities and you’ll find yourself drawn to each coastline ready for the next fun if not daring adventure.
But it’s not all about beaches and culture – the Gorongosa National Park lies in the centre of the country and offers an experience of untouched and remote wilderness that is seldom found anywhere in the world today. Its forests and savannahs are home to lions, African buffalo, wildebeest and elephants. In addition to several other national parks, a trip to Mozambique offers you the opportunity to explore big and small towns, their colourful markets, old colonial buildings and the chance to experience some of the best seafood dishes in the world.
